Direct Insite Renews Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DDS) Certification

Direct Insite Corp. (OTCQB: DIRI), a provider of a powerful unified working capital management platform, announced today that it has renewed its certification as compliant with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) certification, the most rigorous industry-recognized payment-card security standard.

The PCI DSS was created to increase technical and operational controls around cardholder data to reduce credit card fraud. It provides a framework for the development of a robust payment card data security process, including prevention, detection and appropriate reaction to security incidents.

“Data transparency and compliance are critical in today’s increasingly regulated financial environment. Direct Insite has invested heavily in its infrastructure, processes and people to ensure the security of our customers’ sensitive data. PCI DSS validation provides our customers with the confidence that their data is being used, stored and managed in accordance with the most demanding privacy and security standards,” said Direct Insite Chairman and CEO Matthew E. Oakes.

To become PCI DSS-validated, Direct Insite underwent a comprehensive third-party examination of its policies, procedures, and technical systems.
